Tow Mirrors For A GMC Acadia

I am looking for tow mirrors for a Acadia. The only 2 choices I have found so far are the tow-n-see and the CIPA Temporary Mount Towing Mirror. Any recommendations?

RE: 2004 Jayco 19H price

It is a private party sale so no dealer to back it up. The dealer we bought our used popup from backed it up with a year on the leaks and the appliances. I talked to the sellers last night and they are willing to go down to $10K. I still think that is way to high I was thing more like $7K or maybe up to $8K. Does that seem reasonable?

2004 Jayco 19H price

I am now looking into a 2004 Jayco 19H. We decided against the bigger hybrids do to towing with a GMC Acadia. There is one in our area that is, in my opinion, way overpriced but is in very good shape and after looking I think I will make an offer. They are currently asking $13000. They did the NADA guide with adding a lot of options that are usually included in the price and were not even options on their invoice. The NADA with only a couple of options that I can agree with is low $7,000 and average $8500. Those are supposed to be retail prices. So my questions are: What is a good fair price? Any problems with a 19H? There are a few little yellow marks (I can't call the spots) on the roof by the AC and a seam. They almost look like paint or glue. Is this a problem?

RE: Opinion on 3 Used Campers

We went an looked at them this yesterday. The Surveyor had already sold. The years of the other 2 are 2002 Coyote and 2003 Areolite. Of the 2, we like the Coyote better. It was in excellent shape. The problem is it is heavier. The UVW on the Coyote was 3800 with a max of 5500 while the Cub was 3500 with a max of 4750. We have a GMC Acadia with a max tow rating of 4500 so I think the Coyote is out of our range, even though we liked it the best. Over the phone the UVW on the Coyote was 3400 otherwise we might not of even looked at it. They offered to let us test tow it if we want. What do you all think? Any recommendations on a Break controller?

RE: Buying Used

We have a GMC Acadia that is rated for 4500lbs so, we probably max out at the 18/19 foot hybrid size anyway. We have not seen it yet and our main worry is that it is not enough of an upgrade to our 10 foot pop-up. Kids are only 4 and 5 so, unless we have more, it would work. It would be nice to be able to access it without putting it up. We do like the NADA price from $3800 to $4500 as maybe a step up for a few years.

Buying Used

We are looking to upgrade from a popup to a small hybrid because the 2 kids are getting bigger. I am looking for suggestions on what to look for when buying used hybrids. I have read a little about the fold out beds leaking, is this true? My wife and I are considering a used 2001 Aerolite cub. Anyone have experience with the 16 foot model?
